It boasts a membership of over 20,000 journalists from 180 countries. The network's activities include leading workshops, creating training materials, establishing innovative environmental news platforms, offering fellowship programs, and granting funds for reporting. Additionally, EJN plays a pivotal role in expanding networks of environmental journalists and aids in local news production, encompassing groundbreaking investigative reports. The aim is to improve the overall quality and quantity of environmental reporting globally.
