The Singapore Centre for Social Enterprise (raiSE) was set up in 2015 to develop the social enterprise sector in Singapore. As a sector developer, they seed and nurture new enterprises by providing advisory services, programmes, training and resources. They enable existing social enterprises to grow and become sustainable by providing financing options, capacity building and mentorship. Where possible, raiSE seeks to connect with social enterprises and intermediary bodies in the region and share best practices with each other. They also raise awareness of what a social enterprise is and their contributions to the society, as well as the goods and services they provide.
