War Child International is a network of independent humanitarian organisations which work together to help children and young people affected by armed conflict. They seek to complement the work of each organisations in a way that maximizes their collective efforts for the benefit of children and young people. War Child International exists to create the conditions that will fulfill the protection, development and survival rights for children and young people who are living with or recovering from the effects of armed conflict. War Child works in many different conflict areas around the world, helping hundreds of thousands of children every year. War Child International currently consists of three offices: War Child Holland, War Child North America and War Child UK. Although sharing the same aims and goals, the three organisations are totally autonomous, with independent trustees and financial coordination.
